Sitka, Kentucky (July 2, 2015) Thursday’s inaugural Bob Miller Memorial at 201 Speedway has been postponed. With the forecast for rain throughout the day and into the evening, Speedway and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials reached an agreement to postpone the event to Sunday, July 5th.
On Sunday, festivities will get underway with pit and general admission gates opening at 12:00pm [NOON]. A mandatory drivers meeting will take place at 6:00pm, followed by Hot Laps at 6:30pm, then a complete show for the series.
The LOLMDS will now trek north to Zanesville, OH for the “Creno’s 50” at Muskingum County Speedway on Friday night. The series will then travel to Portsmouth Raceway Park Park in Portsmouth, OH on Saturday night for the “Independence 50”. Capping off the holiday weekend will be the make-up event at 201 Speedway in Sitka, KY on Sunday night. All three events will feature action-packed programs that include: Miller Welders Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and 50-lap, $10,000-to-win main events.
